YonderHop collects minimal data, limited to what is necessary to provide authentication and improve your experience. We do not handle payments, financial data, or sensitive personal information. We do not share, sell, or disclose your data to third parties.
When you sign in, we use secure, encrypted cookies to maintain your session. These cookies contain only your user ID and display name, and are essential for keeping you logged in. Cookies are automatically cleared when you log out or when your session expires. These cookies are not used for tracking or advertising purposes.
If you opt in to price alerts, we store your email address only to send you notifications about fares matching your search criteria. Your email is never shared with airlines, third parties, or used for marketing beyond your requested alerts. You can disable alerts or delete your account at any time.
Any content you save or mark as favorite is stored only in your own browser, on your device. We do not transmit, collect, or store this content on our servers. If you clear your browser storage (such as localStorage or site data), any saved content will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. YonderHop has no access to your saved data and cannot restore it for you.
We collect anonymized, non-personal usage data — such as which search parameters are used, page load times, and general navigation patterns — to help us understand how the service is used and where it can be improved. We may use third-party analytics tools to assist with this. Any such tools are configured to avoid capturing sensitive information; since YonderHop does not handle payments or sensitive personal data, none is present on the site to begin with. This data is not linked to your identity and is not shared or sold.
